While we were in Ramona we went to a "Hawkwatch" at the Ramona Grasslands held by the Wildlife Research Institute. These hawks were a foot away from us. The WRI biologists explained and showed us how they trap them, band them and then let them go. It was amazing.

Looks like you had a fun time! We were at Ryan's parents house the other day and a Hawk landed on their water pond/fountain thing! It was so cool! It just stood there and we just stood there... watching each other... It was fabulous!
