I just got home from the Reagan Library where I attended a program remembering the victims of 9/11. The most powerful speaker was Brad Burlingame, the brother of Captain Charles Burlingame III, the pilot of American Airlines flight 77 when it was hijacked and flown into the Pentagon. He shared his personal experience of that tragic day.
During the closing musical number, “God Bless the USA”, 4 F-18’s flew over, it was incredible, they were so close, and so loud, I loved it! After the fly over, the commentator said, "that's the sound of freedom"
I’m so grateful to live in America.

I love my country, the good ol' USA.

I bet that was pretty cool! Ryan and I have gone the past 2 years to the air show in San Diego. I love it when the f-18's fly over. It is overwhelming! The next air show is in October if you want to come!
