Evan surprised me by taking me on a little trip for my birthday. We left home Friday afternoon and headed south (that alone surprised me). A short time later we arrived at the Westin in Old Pasadena. Very nice... After getting settled in we walked to a well known seafood restaurant called McCormick & Schimck's. I have acquired a love for seafood over the last few years and so Evan planned on taking me to this particular restaurant, it was so nice not to have to figure out where to eat! It was also thoughtful because seafood is not his favorite! It was delicious! We then walked to the theatre down Colorado blvd., which is a happening place, where we saw "Leatherheads" which we can't recommend because of all the bad language. Afterwards we headed back to our hotel as fast as we could walk because it was dark and there were some strange people out and about. When we got to our room there was a present waiting for me! A brand new camera, I was so excited (I still am). I have been wanting one for some time because my old camera's screen is so small I can barely see it with these old eyes.
